Innovation and research financing:
Innovation management and marketing: implementation of dissemination and exploitation plan and activities, drafting up of incentives schemes..
The University of Luxembourg (UL), a small-sized institution with an international reach, aims at excellence in research and education. In a reduced number of research fields identified by its successive strategic plans, its ambition is to be among the world's top universities. UL intends to be innovative, centred on research, primarily interested in the quality of the structure it offers to its students, its teachers and its researchers and attentive to the needs of the society around it. It contributes to turning out discerning and independent personalities with strong potential for action in research, innovation and in society.
Flanked by legal and financial services provided by the legal and accounting departments, research administration is carried out by a combination of centralised and decentralised structures: The University of Luxembourg has a unique system of support for research (from pre-award to award and post-award). All grant applications are being orchestrated by Research Facilitators de-centrally in the Research Units and centrally validated and approved by the Research Service.
