BESTPRAC WG1/WG2/WG3 Meeting

We are pleased to announce that the next meeting of all three Working Groups will take place in Bucharest, Romania on February 8-9, 2018.

In the morning of February 8 a Management Committee (MC) Meeting is scheduled. Participation is restricted to MC members.

The working group meetings will start on February 8 at lunch time and will finish on February 9 at approx. 17:00.


Many thanks to Valerian Croitorescu for acting as local organizer of our meeting! 

Following the success of the previous Working Group Meetings, we will have again a joint interactive discussion of all three working groups as well as meetings of the three individual working groups.

We are very pleased to announce that Klaus Schuch (Center for Social Innovation, Austria) agreed to talk about "Impact in RIA and CSA proposals - how to address the impact in proposals".

In case you are interested to attend the meeting, please submit your registration online by Monday, December 18, 2018, at the very latest. As BESTPRAC is related to best practices in project administration, we will take this into account by not granting any extension of the application deadline and by not considering any late-comers.

According to the rules set by the COST office, participants who are Early Stage Administrators and those from inclusiveness countries are especially encouraged to attend the meeting. The decision on who will receive reimbursement will be announced before the Christmas break. We will be able to reimburse approx. 80 participants. 

Do not buy tickets and make hotel reservations before you have received the official invitation through the e-COST system to attend the meeting. Only after having received this official invitation you are entitled to receive reimbursement.

We have requested the Management Committee for approval of a reduction of the rate for accommodation from EUR 120 to EUR 50 for this meeting. This would allow us to reimburse additional participants. 

Together with your possible reimbursement for travel and accommodation costs, you will also receive a per diem of EUR 40. As the local organizer does not get financial support by COST for entire boarding, they will charge you EUR 60 for the lunches and the dinner. Payment details for the catering fee will be provided together with the notification of acceptance.
