Description of job and tasks involved
As a EU project advisor I make sure that all the European projects (FP7 and H2020) run smoothly and are compliant to the EC regulations. I provide advice and help for new projects and solve problems for projects that are already running. I am involved in all aspects of post-award but more particular in the administrative part. Providing advice for researchers support staff as well as the board of directors.
Experience in European research projects
I have experience with FP5, FP6, FP7 Horizon 2020, RIAs, ITNs, ERASMUS, ERC and other.
I work for two organisations the VU university and the VU medical center in Amsterdam. Both organisations have a strong research focus and are successful in acquiring European grants.
Both organisations have a centralized Grantdesk with both dedicated and centralized grant advisors helping researchers acquiring national and European grants both in the pre-award phase as well as post-award. Project management is organised in a decentral way but central support is available for advice and complicated processes.
