Description of job and tasks involved
On an everyday basis I am dealing with legal issues of LCSB, negotiation of the agreements. I am also advising the researchers on the legal steps that must be taken in order to properly perform various actions, e.g. transfer of material, launching a cooperation with another entity.
The LCSB is accelerating biomedical research by closing the link between systems biology and medical research. Collaboration between biologists, medical doctors, computer scientists, physicists and mathematicians is offering new insights in complex systems like cells, organs, and organisms.
Within Luxembourg the LCSB is building up strong partnerships with all major biological and medical research units. The LCSB fosters collaboration with industrial partners and will be a focal point for developing a knowledge based economy in Luxembourg.
At LCSB there are research facilitators that help the researchers to organize the legal framework of their work and legal service that ensures the compliance with law.
